Crabbie's Grand National: "The Outsider" (Starts at 01:08) - UK

Channel 4's sports coverage may be a relatively small part of their output but they are fully committed to the events they cover. The films advertising their involvement in the Paralympics have been rightly lauded and it's worth keeping an eye on what they do to advertise their coverage of the Grand National each year as well. This year's film is an animated tale featuring a plucky young unicorn seeking to prove himself despite an obvious disadvantage.

Red Cross: "Blood" (Starts at 02:11) - Belgium

This compelling film for the Red Cross reverses events to poignantly underline the value of donating blood. A woman who is haemorrhaging dangerously during childbirth is saved by a transfusion ... and by tracing the blood back to the donor, we're shown how his casual act of giving can make all the difference.

Aldi: "Favourite Things" (Starts at 03:16) - UK

Director Charlie Stebbings who made this commercial for Aldi has built his reputation on making Marks & Spencer's food look beautiful, so it isn't surprising that he manages to make the discount supermarket's Easter offering look so delicious. It's the latest proof that Aldi no longer feel they have to compete on price alone.

Foundation Against Drug Addiction: "Construye" (Starts at 04:00) - Spain

So many films warning against the perils of drug addiction show depictions of the consequences - teenagers unwittingly frittering away their youth; blighted lives; haunted laments from the destroyed wishing they knew then what they know now. This takes a completely different approach and is rather wonderful as a result.

Branston: "Cheese Mountain" (Starts at 05:10) - UK

One for sci-fi and condiment fans alike, this ode to Close Encounters of the Third Kind is as beautifully crafted as the obsessed protagonist's dairy produce monolith. The awed expression of the man who put it together is perfectly counterbalanced by his wife's eye-rolling disdain.
